FAQs
Authentic Learning means that it is relevant to the child and to life. With authentic learning, the world is your classroom. The child has every opportunity to excel and to reconnect with their love of learning.
The Reignite Learning System uses a thematic approach. That means there is a theme for the year, such as "Heroes" or "Around the World in 80 Days." With a different theme-related topic each week, all school subjects, relevant adventures, and projects are integrated into the fun, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.
Themes are brain-friendly. Our brains retain knowledge better when there is a pattern or system (theme) to connect to the new knowledge. In addition to the theme making the material fun and engaging, the Reinite Learnng System taylors the theme to your child's specific interests and hobbies!
Good question! Part of the Reignite Learning System is to have a daily dose of reading, writing, and math. The difference is that they are woven into the theme in relevant and interesting ways, so the learning is practical and intriguing. Also, with the Reignite Learning System, you will have a report of what state requirements are being met as your child completes the activities they choose to do.
The biggest thing you can contribute to your child is your loving support. We've got you. With the core subjects built in, the child is free to explore their genius. Sometimes, we just have to get out of their way. Once the Reignite Learning System is in place, it becomes child-led as they excel and begin to fulfill their potential.
